What better way to show your love… than making something delicious for them. Red velvet is perfect for the red and white valentines theme and I’ve always wanted to make a heart-shaped cake. Turn out pretty well. I did accidently overcooked some of the cupcakes but otherwise the cake itself was delcious even without the icing because I didnt make enough so I ate it icing-less. Also my cake didn’t turn RED enough..maybe because the cocoa powder was too dark, so go for a lighter one if you want a rich red tone.
