FoodReview: La Chine
On Mother’s Day, my family went to La Chine Chinese restaurant to celebrate. We order their mother’s day set meal special for 10 people at $300. So it was about $30 for 10 people.
What I loved about it was the change from the traditional chinese set meals (You know, with the Roasted Pork, Lobster, Fish ending with the rice, noodles and the red bean soup). So here are the photos and my favourite dishes of the night.
The mango rolls looked very appetizing and I liked the way it tasted BUT, if you are not a friend of onions, you may hate it because their was a strong taste of onions. I like onions and its zingy taste so it was fine but I would have preferred it to be a little less.
The creme brulee was great, not too sweet and very creamy.
Loved the bun that ooze out a gold filling, also known as a sweet egg-ish filling. It’s not the same as the egg custard buns you get at dim sum tho that’s for sure!
