It’s been a while… since Veld last summer?! But I finally got to dance again at Armin Only: Intense tour! Armin announced his Intense tour days back in October and I was hoping to go but also to buy tickets later since I was saving for my winter trips. I bought a last minute ticket this week and went.

The entire show was amazing and so much fun! The lighting, stage styles and visuals were beautiful. The entire environment was perfect —no washroom lines, minimal refreshment lines, enough dancing room, comfortable temperatures and good vibes all around.

The music was simply the best… It is Armin Van Buuren after all. He does really take you for a journey with the music… starting with softer tracks to an uplifting emotional roller coaster and then, BAM! it was all hard and intense to close the 5 hour set.

Some added visual extras were the live vocalists, full band and performers! They enhanced the experience and really brought a new element to EDM shows. You were never bored.

His opening was quite a sight too. He opened for himself but he was hidden in this bubble with short glimpse of his shadow. After an hour into the set, he finally emerges and his music gets stronger.

The most emotional song of the night was RAMelia. This was the first time I’ve heard it live. It was beautiful and so sad.
