Treetop Trekking Brampton
I went tree trekking for the first time 4 years ago in Barrie and had a blast. So, why not do it again? My sister and Sabrina has been bugging me to go and plan the event. And we couldn’t have picked a better day to do it. The week before was cold and rainy but we lucked out and got sunny +20 weather.
We started with a quick orientation and then moved onto the beginner aerial courses. Each course comprised of platforms, “games” (tightropes, swings, etc.) and at least one zipline between trees.
We finished all 6 courses in our 3-hour slot, although we took about 4.5 hour due to waiting. That was the only thing I didn’t like, waiting to climb or move on but that’s what happens on busy weekends.
Here is a highlights reel from my GoPro.
It was perfect way to close summer with some great friends. My friend, Miranda recommended a ziplining course, Selvatica near Cancun, Mexico where you’re always on top of trees and a zipline that you need to release and fall in to water. That’s definitely on my bucket list now.
