2017 Reflections & Goals
2017 marked the biggest purchase to date… a new home. But aside from that big purchase, it was fun year snowboarding in Colorado, seeing Japan, eating in Chicago and living with Chi in Seattle. I also got to show my parents and sister Seattle and PNW this summer. It really made me miss them a lot… more so than ever.
2017 goals
Holy crap I barely did anything I intended to do last January…

[X] Plan a wedding – Still planning
[ ] Keep improving my cooking skills
[ ] Run more 5Ks
[ ] See Rainer’s wild flowers – Went to Rainer but didn’t see the wild flowers 🙁
[ ] Visit Palouse falls
[ ] Visit Multnomah Falls & Eastern Oregon
[X] Bike more! Outdoor trails? – Biked to work a few times a week… does that even count?
2017 Highlights
Colorado
A fun week-long snowboarding trip in Colorado with close friends and family.
Japan
Another fantastic international trip to a country I’ve always wanted to see. The cherry blossoms were beautiful. Tried lots of new experiences (Real-life mario kart!) and ate some fantastic food (Michelin star unagi-don). The japan crew was a blast to hang out with too.
Chicago
A overdue girls long weekend filled with food and laughter.
Questival
A random 24 hours adventure with two of my closest friends in Seattle.
Total Eclipse
Mind-blown at this amazing solar event. It surpassed my expectation and was one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen.
Family in PNW
It was so wonderful to show them around Seattle, Victoria and Vancouver. How I miss them.
Mount Rainer National Park
Snagged an amazing camping spot and celebrated Chi’s new residency in Seattle.
Living with Chi
Finally our long distance relationship was over and I see his face every day.
ABGT250
The gorge was an amazing venue paired with one of my favourite DJs, Above and Beyond. My senses were melting.
Home purchase
Chi and I bought our first home together in Seattle.
