Swedish House Mafia – One Last Tour
I waited for the CD to come out. I counted down the day they would announce their tour spots… And when they announced Toronto as one of their stops, I was super excited for it. On ticket sales day, there was a mad rush to buy tickets and luckily, it went smoothly since I scored the number of tickets I wanted before it sold out.
Few months later, we were lining up outside the Rogers centre in the February, in the cold and wearing just t-shirts. Otto knows opened the show and he was okay… I rather have had Alesso! I was also kinda disappointed at the stage… It look like one projection screen! After a 30 minute intermission, the stage transformed! And Swedish House Mafia started playing… Greyhound opened the show and the crowds must have doubled. I was smushed… Luckily it sorta opened up after the first few songs.
It was getting hot and crowded but the set was amazing! I couldn’t stop dancing and fist pumping. Chris and I ended up shifted from the group so we had some more room to dance.
The stage looked amazing! There were fireworks, pyrotechnic effects, tons of lasers, lights and confetti. Wow… It was such an amazing show! The music was top notch, playing all my favorites.
The ending was just mind blowing: Save the World + Reload. The balloons fell as Save the World came one. Everyone sang along then Bam! Reload made us all going insane. It felt amazing. Chris recorded the last 40 minutes of the show, watch the last 3 minutes of the end.
