The Porter Experience
I left off my last post about flying home from Ottawa on Porter Airlines. This post explains how well-designed their customer experience was. First, they have a lounge with apple iMACs with free internet, and free snacks, coffee and cold beverages.
Flying into the Toronto Island definitely had its views. You can see downtown Toronto (CN Tower and all) from above. That view was spectacle and I’ve never seen Toronto like that before.
That day I had tried almost every means of transportation haha. After flying to the Island, we go on a 2 min ferry (I thought it was going to be a long ride like to Centre Island) and then take the Porter Shuttle Bus to Union Station. And later that day, I took the Go train and drove my car home. but anyways… the airport had all these wondering Porter signs featuring various Cities they fly to. Here are a couple of shots of the airport.
I definitely enjoyed flying with Porter and I would recommend it for business and pleasure travellers because they have such a well-designed and well-branded customer experience. don’t forget to try their cappuccino from the fancy machine. It was delicious!
