[Trip] San Francisco, CA

Day 5 – Saturday July 4, 2010

We started the day exploring the downtown core; Union square. It was very lively and it was great to see the famous iconic Cable cars. Macy’s was huge and so was the Ross! Ended up buying some more clothes <3 Be careful not to park right under union square… it was $22 for 4 hours!

Driving around here is crazy because the roads are so steep! I was afraid our car would roll back at a intersection. Next, we went to Fisherman’s Warf, Pier 39 in the afternoon. Great fun lively place but boy was it COLD and Windy. If you look out to the dock, you can see many sea lions there just chilling and lying there. Pretty cool!

Day 6 – Sunday July 5, 2010

We began the day by seeing the famous Golden Gate Bridge. There was nothing golden about it, it was red! But it was good to see the landmark nonetheless. We heading to see Golden Gate park.

The conservatory of flowers was ‘ok’ not that many flowers but they had a carnivorous plant exhibit which was cool. We finished the day with In and Out burgers, animal style, which I thought was good but not as insanely delicious as everyone say it is. We checked out the Exploratium since the architecture looked pretty, just like a roman building.

Day 7 – Monday July 6, 2010

I voted for taking the longer route on the winding highway along the coast and it was about four hours longer but the view was breathtaking and totally worth it. I wish I had more time to stop and take photos. It sucked that my camera died on me too. So I didn’t have too many shots.
