Above & Beyond Group Therapy 250

Above & Beyond announced their Group Therapy 250 show at the Gorge Amphitheatre in Washington. And I knew I had to go… Not just because I love their music but also seeing the Gorge, which looks spectacular from photos.

Day 1 – Saturday September 16, 2017

We arrived at a nearby campground called Wildhouse and set up our tents. Shortly after we went to the festival grounds and made our way through the crowds towards the music and main stage.

We gently climbed a hill to view the stage and was blown away by the beautiful landscape of the gorge. It was breathtaking and paired with A&B’s deep set.

Mindblown

We danced and enjoyed the views for a bit before getting some food and watched the sunset over the gorge.

I liked Yotto and Oliver Smith’s sets a lot… but A&B was of course, the best. Their music is so energetic and uplifting to bring me such joy. But also gives you goosebumps and the tribute to those we lost too early brought tears to my eyes.

Man, it was so much fun… Not to mention these awesome T-mobile light bracelets that are synced and controlled by the show. It was magical to see everyone’s bracelet light up synchronized and united.

Day 2 – Sunday September 17, 2017

Yoga with Above and Beyond… I had to go! Surprisingly it wasn’t against the beautiful Gorge view but it was still relaxing to listen to A&B play live while a Yoga instructor led a easy stretching session. Definitely, need after a night of dancing.

A&B Yoga Set

The rest of the day was super relaxed and we just chilled listening to Anjunadeep DJs play deep house… which isn’t my favourite but nice to hear regardless. I only wished there was a exclusive A&B Acoustic set…

All about the group therapy

We tore down our tents, drove home and enjoyed some Pho before wrapping up one of the most fun weekends.  I can’t wait for their new album, Common Ground.
